Furthermore, a generous chunk of Roger Eagle’s rightly famous Jamaican vinyl collection has recently come into my hands (in digital form, of course). I haven’t plumbed its depths — do chunks, even generous ones, have depths, I wonder? — but I’m expecting to be ambushed, at least a couple or three times, by tunes that I may well not have heard since Roger spun them at Eric’s in early 1977, which could be, like, vertiginous. And stuff.
