Cut paper by Hina Aoyama, 2007

Insanely fine paper cutting art. Not much information to be gleaned by the non-Japanese speaker, either on the main site, nor on Hiroshi’s blog, which is where I found it — but there’s lots more in this Flickr slideshow

I keep imagining the swearing that I would be uttering when I accidentally cut through an “a” or the like. Then I imagine it happening every 15mins. That’s an obsessional artform.
Oh, there is a bit of english here

ps. commenting sucks when at the end of the captcha I get ‘comment ok’ (or whatever) on the blank white page with a captcha URL in place in the address bar and………………..nada. Have to jiggle the URL by hand to get back home.

Not complainin’ so much as tellin’.

Ahh..didnt do it the 2nd time.
Maybe it was the URL in the comment.
    Forget I spoke comrade.

I’d forgotten there even was a captcha on the comments. I can’t persuade my machine to show me one without killing all the cookies, which for various reasons I’m disinclined to do right now. I’ll look into it the next time I’m on a strange machine.

(the right kind of strange machine, obviously…)
