In a stunning bit of synchronicity just now, this post from WOEBOT appeared in my feed reader at the very moment that iTunes picked out Through Hollow Lands (from Before and After Science, 1977). Not only the very album with which the prints were originally published, but the track which (I always felt) related most closely to the pictures. Woebot’s copies of the four Peter Schmidt lithographs are a little dog-eared, and spent time actually pinned — pinned! — to his wall, so I’ve just rooted out my copies, which have rarely been out of the folder they came in, and which have certainly never been pinned to anything, and made some fresh scans. They’re only screen resolution, but cleaner than any of the other scans I’ve seen around. You’re welcome.
