Saw Lady’s blog

Here’s a funny thing. There was a comment here a couple of days ago from “Saw Lady” on the Delicatessen soundtrack post. The Saw Lady aka Natalia Paruz has a blog which essentially recounts her daily life as a street musician on the subway in NYC. I read the first page of it yesterday morning, and by the time I got to the bottom of the page, there were tears in my eyes, and I have no idea why. Now that’s a blogger to be reckoned with…

I see that J-Walk has linked to the Saw Lady’s blog today, and doffs the cap to Curtis. Heh. I see what you did there.

UPDATE: As you see, we now have a “related posts” plugin doing its thing below. In this case, however, the J-Walk-related links refer to a musical outfit of the same name, not to the J-Walk blog. I expect there’ll be a lot more of this kind of thing going on, unless I can be bothered to disambiguate the tags, which is pretty unlikely.

  1. Curtis says:

Yeah, I should have told John where I encountered Saw Lady. I had the same reaction to her writing.
