lens culture presents 120 images, cherry-picked from Paris Photo 2007, which is apparently the largest photography fair in the world. Most of the selections are more or less contemporary, but then the Hans Bellmer doll showed up. Which got me searching for more Bellmer images on teh internets. As it turns out, there’s quite a lot out there.
I hear that by November, the high speed train to Paris will get me there from St. Pancras in about two and a quarter hours — but I very much doubt I’ll have the money to make the trip, let alone buy anything…
