I’ve just approved a spam comment on a post from a few days ago, so that scholars may examine it and please explain to me: what is the purpose?

There’s been a few of these, over the past while. It consists of apparently random alphanumerics, is peppered with nonsensical links, none of which belong to real destinations. So what is the point of it? Gambling and porn spam I can at least understand, but what can this random crap be doing for anyone?
